The CETA Series: Advancing the Canada-EU Clean Tech Industry

Join us for an engaging event examining the dynamic Canada-EU economic and trade relationship in the clean technology sector.

The session will also feature a fireside chat with Sara Wilshaw, Assistant Deputy Minister for the International Trade Branch and Canada’s Chief Trade Commissioner, offering key insights into the Canadian trade policy and the Canada-EU economic and trade relationship.

This event takes place just before the 2025 Hannover Messe—the world’s premier trade fair for industrial technology. This year’s Hannover Messe highlights Canada as the official partner country.

As part of the CETA Series, this Clean-tech event will bring together senior business and policy leaders to explore collaboration opportunities that drive sustainable innovation.*

The event will include online participation for those outside the Brussels area, reaching a wider audience of policymakers and regulators, business leaders, mining and sustainability experts, academic and research institutions, civil society groups and media.

A panel discussion with industry experts will further explore how Canadian and European companies can leverage CETA to drive clean tech growth and investment.

The event is being organized by the Canada EU Trade and Investment Association (CEUTIA) on behalf of the Canadian Mission to the EU.

Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable perspectives, engage with industry leaders, and explore new pathways for Canada-EU clean tech trade.

* A networking reception will follow for in-person participants.

This is the third episode in the second season of the #CETA Series of events aimed at examining the strategic importance of the Canada-EU economic and trade partnership and how to unlock its full potential.
